Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is one of the first national forest parks in China and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and World Geopark. In the movie "Avatar," the unique landforms and peculiar pillar formations of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park were used to depict the planet Pandora. Some scenes in the movie, such as the "Floating Mountains" and "Hallelujah Mountains," were inspired by the landscape design of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
