Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is one of the first national forest parks in China and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and World Geopark. Its main attractions include the Tianmen Mountain Glass Skywalk, known as the "Number One Bridge in the World," the Nantian Temple, known as the "Southern Pillar of Heaven," the Yuanjiajie, known as the "Magical Stone Forest" and one of the "Most Beautiful Mountains in the World." In the movie "Avatar," the unique landforms and peculiar pillar formations of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park were used to depict the planet Pandora. Some scenes in the movie, such as the "Floating Mountains" and "Hallelujah Mountains," were inspired by the landscape design of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Therefore, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is known as the "Hometown of Avatar," attracting numerous tourists to admire this magnificent natural landscape and experience the fantasy world depicted in the movie.
