Day1, Guangzhou--Foshan

         Meal: Lunch

         Accommodation: Foshan

Pick up from the international airport, then enjoy a Cantonese brunch of dim sum in Guangzhou. After that, we will take a bus for around 30 minutes to Foshan Hotel to drop off the luggage. Then we will take a camera to Lingnan Tiandi for some sightseeing and have dinner there as well.

 

Day2, Foshan – ZuMiao Temple -- Diejiao

          Meal:  Breakfast/Dinner

          Accommodation: Foshan

After breakfast, we will walk to ZuMiaoTemple, where the most famous lion dance performances and the location of Bruce Lee's master Ip Man are located. After visiting the attractions in the afternoon, we can taste some local specialties at a century-old shop by the street. Then, we will take a bus to Diejiao to experience the fun and charm of dragon boat racing. After that, we will return to Foshan, have dinner, and check into the hotel.

 

Day3, Foshan -- Guangdong Cantonese opera learning -- Experience and practice traditional ceramic culture

          Meal:  Breakfast/Dinner

          Accommodation: Foshan

After breakfast, we will visit the Guangdong Qionghua Theater to watch Cantonese Yuequ opera. We also can wear traditional costumes and perform on stage with them. Then, we will head to the Dongpeng Ceramic Museum for lunch. After gaining a deeper understanding through the visit, we will have a hands-on experience in pottery making. Afterward, we will have dinner and return to the hotel.

 

Day4, Foshan – Xiqiao Mountain – Foshan

          Meal:  Breakfast/Dinner

          Accommodation: Foshan

After breakfast, we will take bus to Xiqiao Mountain, where the scenery is not only beautiful but also place the South Sea Guanyin statue. The tranquil feeling will allow you to enjoy the peaceful moment. The Guangdong Eternal live show is your best optional tour after visiting Xiqiao Mountain. After the tour, we will return to Foshan to rest and prepare for tomorrow's itinerary.

 

Day5, Foshan – Bruce Lee's hometown -- Fengjian Water Town -- 33rd Street Market -- Tan Clan Ancestral Hall – Foshan

          Meal:  Breakfast/Dinner

          Accommodation: Foshan

After breakfast, we will take a bus to visit Bruce Lee's hometown. In addition to sightseeing, we will also learn Kung Fu together. Next, we will go to Fengjian Water Village to experience the picturesque scenery of small bridges and flowing water. Then, we will visit the Thirty-third Street to see the old-style Guangdong market street and experience the different lifestyle in Guangdong. Finally, we will arrive at Tan Family Ancestral Hall, where we will feel the importance of family and the heritage significance of the family tree. After dinner there, we will drive back to hotel to relax.

 

Day 6 Foshan

Meals: Breakfast/Dinner

After a comfortable night's sleep and breakfast, we will depart for Guangzhou, the bustling capital of Guangdong province. We will visit the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, which is the perfect place to buy gifts and souvenirs. There, we can also taste the century-old Guangdong Cheung Fun and Guangdong Clay Pot Rice. Finally, we will conclude our enjoyable journey and head back.
